We have designed a mounting system for double-sided modules, consisting of a table complete with hardware. The main feature of the design is that there is no shading of the back side of the modules, the height from the edge of the panel to the ground is 1-1.2 m.
Why is this? The front side of the photovoltaic module receives direct solar radiation, and the back side receives reflected radiation from the ground and other surfaces. Therefore, photovoltaic cells “absorb” sunlight not only from the front side, but also from the back. Therefore, the height of such structures should ensure unobstructed passage of reflected light.
